When there is inclement weather, our district has a strategy for deciding whether to delay or close school.
Our Superintendent drives the roads to examine road conditions, consults with the Sanilac County Road Commission, and contacts other Sanilac County school districts to get their input.
We will err on the side of caution and cancel school, before putting anyone in our Marlette Community School family in harm's way by having school.

During recess today, our elementary students worked together to build a school-wide snowman scene worthy of being featured at the North Pole! Pictured are our 1st graders, who were fabulous helpers.
Good luck to our Red Raiders tonight when they play Sandusky! It's a great night for basketball.

Enjoy your long weekend!

The 9th-grade students in Mrs. Bednaryczk's class worked very hard on their museum displays about WWI. The students researched a topic related to the war and did a phenomenal job with their content, graphics, artwork, and presentation.

Our tutoring sessions at the Elementary School are canceled on January 10th and 11th due to early dismissals.

Please contact Ms. Tiffany if you need childcare on our 1/2 days or next Monday.

Good luck to our Marlette team tonight at Ubly!

A shout-out to Mrs. Fantin, her incredible work, along with Linda Moshier. Their students became the newest ringers in town. They learned the basics of ringing in TWO days! They have sure come a long way since August. Getting familiar with the universal language of music can positively impact a child's future learning.
