Mr. Schott took his biology classes to the Detroit Zoo to study animal behavior. The students used an ethogram to observe and analyze animal behavior in real time. As a class, students practiced using the ethogram on polar bears. Afterward, the classes were encouraged to explore the zoo and use the device on other animals.
