10 Marlette Jr/Sr High School students qualified for the State Track Meet!
Eleven days until the first day of our 2019-20 school year. To commemorate 11, we pay tribute to our engineering club's appearance at the MATE Great Lakes ROV Competition on May 11.
We are down to 12 days on our Countdown! Today we are excited for our 12 x 3 Specialized bicycles that our 5th-8th grade students will have the opportunity to ride this year in gym!
The Countdown continues! 13 days until we start the 19-20 school year. In honor of 13, we recall the 13 x 2 students who attended the state BPA competition in Grand Rapids!
GSRP Update
Typically by now we are in the process of notifying and enrolling our GSRP children into the preschool program.
Unfortunately at this time, the ISD has not been granted funding for the 19-20 school year. Any programming for the upcoming year is dependent on the inclusion of GSRP in the State School Aid Act which has not been finalized in Lansing.
We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing, however, it is completely out of our hands. Until the state has a budget and the ISD is granted funding for the GSRP program, we are not given “slots” for the program.
The legislature is expected back in session next week and we do still plan to start GSRP September 9. As soon as we are notified, our parents will be notified.

Two teaching positions are currently posted for our elementary school. One is for K-6 STEM and the other is for a general education teacher. Join our school family!
Course schedule pickup for Jr./Sr. High School will be as follows: 8th/10th/11th/12th graders can pick up schedules in the main office on Wed. Aug 21st or Thurs. Aug. 22nd from 9:00 am - 11:30 am or 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm.
Upcoming events for Marlette Jr./Sr. High School. 7th Grade Orientation; Tues. Aug. 20th @ 6:00 pm. 9th Grade Orientation; Tues. Aug. 20th @ 7:00 pm. Both orientations will be hosted in the Jr./Sr. High cafeteria, and students will be given their course schedules at this time.
