4th graders are wrapping up their measurement unit by participating in "Metric Olympics." With silly and fun events like 'cotton ball shot put,' 'big foot,' 'right-handed marble grab,' and 'paper plate discus,' students did real-life measurements using the metric system. They practiced estimating to see who could get as close to their actual result as possible and were awarded medals for their efforts!
