A site has been established at Marlette Elementary School which will be open Monday - Thursday, June 12 to June 29. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. The free meals served meet USDA guidelines.

The Marlette School Foundation was founded in 1938 "to improve educational facilities in the Marlette Public School." All former students of the school, not just graduates, are members of the Foundation. 4th graders are wrapping up their measurement unit by participating in "Metric Olympics." With silly and fun events like 'cotton ball shot put,' 'big foot,' 'right-handed marble grab,' and 'paper plate discus,' students did real-life measurements using the metric system. They practiced estimating to see who could get as close to their actual result as possible and were awarded medals for their efforts!
