Happy Friday Red Raiders!
I hope everyone is having a great start to their summer. Marlette Community Schools will shut down the week of July 4-8 (facilities, summer school, athletics, etc.) Regular operations will resume July 11.
Have a great weekend! #RedRaiderNation
Get together with your friends and enjoy breakfast and lunch together during the summer.
Please respect parking guidelines this summer at the high school.
Here is our athletic schedule for June. Enjoy your summer!
As a way to celebrate the end of the school year, our 4th-grade students had fun at their "Glow Party"! It was a great way to send the kids off for a wonderful summer break.
We made it Marlette: School's out for the summer! Have a safe and relaxing summer break and we will see you next year! #summervacation #RedRaiderNation
Please help us collect student devices. Students should turn in their device and charging cord by Friday, June 10th.
The deadline for seniors and their parents to choose which picture they want included in the Class of 2022 Composite has been extended to June 10. Go to www.scottsstudio.com and follow the attached directions to make your selection by the deadline.
If you do not make a selection by June 10, one will be made for you.
Students in Mrs. Thompson’s 4th-grade class completed an egg drop as their final lab for the year! They had limited materials and 15 minutes to build something to protect an egg dropped off the top of the tall playground slide. Students completed this lab that teaches the scientific method in the first week of school, then analyzed their data and made a new design to test during the last week of school.
Red Raider Care reminder:
Don't forget to sign up for Basketball Camp!
Mr. Schleicher, Mrs. Albertson's, Mr. Reynolds, and Mr. Boyle's classes had a visit from the Thompson Family pig. His name is Dwight K ShROOT, and he is a 1.5-year-old Juliana pig that lives in their home. He also was trained to use a litter box, and he does tricks. Thanks to Melissa, Aila, Liam, and Asher for sharing him with our students.
This morning, the elementary staff got treated to homemade oatmeal cream pies to celebrate the last Monday of the school year! Shout out to Gentner Insurance Agency and Wilkinson Farm for sponsoring this special treat!
Congratulations to Modicella and Jimmy! You deserve recognition for your exceptional contributions to the classroom and for making strides with learning this year.
Marlette was well represented today at the state track meet in Hudsonville. Olivia Findlay took 2nd place in the high jump and 5th in the long jump and Tyler Izydorek took 8th in the pole vault. Go Red! #RedRaiderNation #
Congratulations to our student leaders! We are looking forward to all of the great things you will do next school year.
