On Friday, July 7th, in Mason, MI, we watched our Marlette Trap Shooting Team compete in the USA National Trap Shooting Championships. The Marlette team comprises 18 students, 5 of whom qualified for Nationals; Jensen Peterson, Peyton Tracy, Kelden McIntyre, Logan Malloy, and Collin Machota from Kingston. There were teams from 21 different states from around the country. Nathan Hager coaches the Marlette team. We are proud of finding ways to connect students to activities that they enjoy!

If you are near Mason Friday and Saturday, check out the National Trap Shooting Championships to cheer on the Red Raiders. The team shoots on Friday at 9 AM and around 1 PM. Four of the kids are shooting in the individual tournament on Saturday. Go Red Raiders!

Lore Nickens had an energizing couple of weeks with her students. Everyone had a great time reflecting on the school year and enjoying activities to celebrate.
The Marlette School Foundation was founded in 1938 "to improve educational facilities in the Marlette Public School." All former students of the school, not just graduates, are members of the Foundation.
