Sarah Kady's 6th grade Science class engaged in a Solar System project aligning with three previous lessons. The students were divided into groups and tasked with creating a formal PowerPoint presentation that included essential facts about the solar system while showcasing unique solar system models. The students put a lot of hard work and effort into their projects and did a great job with their team presentations.

9th and 10th grade geometry students are learning how to create 2D representations of 3D figures. They created orthographic drawings of 3D shapes, and the best way to see those 3D shapes and draw them from a variety of viewpoints is to build them!

Olivia Findlay signed her National Letter of Intent with the Wayne State University track and field team on Monday night. As a freshman, Findlay was runner-up in the long jump and third in the high jump at the Division 4 state finals, and as a sophomore, she was fifth in the long jump and runner-up in the high jump. This past spring, Findlay was a state champion in the high jump, with a leap of 5-4, which caught the attention of Wayne State University's coach, who was recruiting at the state finals. Findlay, who has had immense success in both the high jump and long jump, will be focusing on the high jump at Wayne State. She plans on studying nursing.

1st grade students had the opportunity to discover fascinating details about Mrs. Cooper's uncle and his military life. During the lesson, children delved into the inner workings of various machines, gained insight into his military service, and explored the different types of uniforms he wore. To add to the experience, he even shared videos and photos that gave the students a glimpse into his life of service.
