Students are encouraged to wear pink, and by making a $1 donation that morning at both schools, they can also wear their favorite hats to help raise funds for this important cause. All proceeds will benefit BCUPS. Let's unite to make a difference together! #BreastCancerAwareness #WearPink

Wellness Wednesday at Marlette Elementary was a huge success! Staff were able to choose a pumpkin to celebrate the onset of fall. McCready Family Farms graciously donated one pumpkin to each staff member. Happy Wednesday team! Holly, we can't thank you enough for your help unloading 65 pumpkins this morning! If your organization is interested in sponsoring one of our Wellness Wednesdays, please get in touch with Renee Magee at Renee.Magee@MarletteSchools.org.

Recently, the survival class learned the "Rule of Threes" and that it's important to start a fire within 3 hours in extreme conditions to ensure you can maintain body heat. Mr. Herman taught the class learned how to make fire starters. The students gathered pine cones from around the school and dipped them in hot wax. Additionally, they experimented with cotton balls and other items found around the house. The question they need to answer this week is which item will burn the longest? We will soon find out!
