🌟 Exciting week in Young 5's! 🚒👮♂️ The students had some amazing visitors join them to share their experiences and knowledge! Firefighter Jess, Aspire EMS, and Officer Sanchez took the time to show the kiddos their emergency vehicles and explain their important roles in keeping our community safe. Superintendent Marshall joined Mrs. Thompson's 4th-grade classroom to dive into the story of "Wicked Witch Willebrand." 📚✨ The students explored visualization by drawing what they imagined as they read, and it was amazing to see the unique interpretations of Willebrand! Each drawing reflected their creativity and took us on a journey through their eyes. We took math to the next level with our Pumpkin Spice Shape Builders, where creativity met geometry! 🎃📐 Plus, we had fun measuring the height of our quirky skeleton and whipping up unique trail mix recipes using our measuring utensils! 🥣👻 And let’s not forget the hilarious rounds of Spud! 🥔🎈
