Marlette Elementary School's Giving Tree has done awesome so far collecting toys for local families this holiday season. We have collected boxes and boxes of toys. We are collecting unwrapped toys through Friday, December 20th.

MES is spreading Christmas cheer with Christmas caroling and Christmas crafts with the Hannah Wolfe residents. Mrs. Branding’s students were back to back winners in having the highest percentage of students at MES returning their reading calendars.

On Thurs. Dec. 12, there will be a donut and cookie sale at the HS beginning at 7:45 a.m. by the cafeteria. Donuts are $3 each or 2 for $5 and cookies are $2. All proceeds will benefit local foster families. Contact Mrs. Lester at the high school with any questions.

This morning the first graders held a writing celebration to showcase their informational writing. Mrs Cross’s fourth graders joined Mrs. Pennington's class in leaving compliments to the authors about their writing and illustrations.
