Tonight is the Sanilac County College Night at Sandusky High School from 6:00-7:30
PM. There will also be 2 financial aid sessions at 5:30 and 6:15 PM for students and
parents. Students in grades 10-12 are encouraged to attend to talk to college reps
and/or military recruiters. Your parents are also invited and encouraged to attend.
October 18-22 is National School Bus Safety Week! Thank you to all our drivers who safely bring our students to school and back home each day!
Girls Varsity Volleyball had a strong showing at their tournament today in Marlette. The girls are playing well, as they have a big week ahead of them as they play both Brown City and Ubly on the road. Great job girls and Go Raiders!
Miss Sue (Bus 10A/Red Circle) is not available to drive her AM and PM routes on Monday & Tuesday, October 18-19. AM - Students who need a ride will be picked up by another bus once they have completed their route. Students could be picked up 60-90 minutes later than normal. PM - Students will be held at their school until another bus completes their route. They will then be picked up and transported home. The arrival time could be 60-90 minutes later than normal.

Marlette played 3 tough overtime periods in their battle at Harbor Beach, but a 2 point conversion gave Harbor Beach the victory. The Raiders took the lead, 22 - 16, in the 3rd overtime, then Harbor Beach scored and were able to convert their 2 point play for the victory at HB.

Varsity Volleyball in front of a BIG Marlette crowd beat Sandusky last night in 4 games to celebrate parents night. - The girls played hard and they showed why they will be a force in the Districts in a couple of weeks.

The Red Raider JV football team, overcame a rough night in the rain as they fought back from an early deficit to tie visiting Harbor Beach 24-24 at Red Raider field in their last home game of the season. - the tie has kept the JV team undefeated for the year.

The seniors started completing info on the FAFSA using a new tool called FAFSA Made Easier. Please work with your senior to finish and submit their FAFSA. One parent will need create an FSA ID to sign your student's FAFSA. Questions? Contact Mrs. Helwig.
In-person parent-teacher conferences for students in grades 7-12 take place this evening (10/13/21) from 6-8 PM in the junior/senior high school classrooms. Pick up your student's MP 1 progress report in the main office.

The girls have shown improvement all season behind the hard work of coaches Kristen and Michelle. Great job coaches and girls. Their last game is at Harbor Beach on Monday.
