Ms. Marshall's class had lots of fun learning about apples this week to prepare for their apple orchard field trip on Friday. They did apple crafts and math activities and even tasted test apples.

In the Young 5's class, children learned their letters to spell out LEADER this week. They chose a Hot Wheels and Doll party as their reward for making such great choices. Thank you to Mrs. Curtis for engaging our young learners and teaching our kids about leadership.

Mr. Marquardt introduced a water filtration project to help give students options for survival skills. Students had the opportunity to experience the scientific method and have some fun. There were some creative ideas and some surprising results.

Autumn is a favorite season for our Marlette students. The crisp fall air and baked goods' aroma conjure up joy. Several sponsors donated apple cider and donuts for a fall celebration for our elementary students. Thank you for your generosity to Lone Oak Orchard, MIDHHS Pathways to Potential, Marlette Elementary PTO, and Ben's Supercenter. You can see how much some of our students enjoyed the special treats in Mrs. Thompson's class. All smiles!

A soccer camp was hosted for our students and we had a great turnout from our community. Watching our students learn new athletic games or shoring up the ones they know is an opportunity for all to have "Ah-Ha" moments. Most of all, we love to see the Marlette "I CAN" mentality on and off the field.
