Ms. Laursen's class earned all their letters in the word LEADER again. The children voted to have a Glow/Dance Party in class for their reward. There was a lot of movement and fun as the kids enjoyed their well-deserved reward.

Thank you to Mark Schank, Burlington Township Fire Department Chief, for awarding us this plaque. Our district donated two buses to the fire department to simulate a rollover accident and an extraction drill. Because we did so, he submitted our district for a community service award, and we were chosen as the winner.

10th-grade students are reading Losers Bracket and had the opportunity to interview the author of the book, Chris Crutcher. The inspiration for many of the characters in his books came from his 25 years as a therapist in child abuse and neglect cases.
