We fought hard, but Sandusky took the win for our Varsity boys tonight. Come out to check out the varsity girls play Sandusky next. It's a big game for these ladies, so come cheer them on.

Our staff is working hard to prepare for the Book Fair on February 27-March 3rd. Families visiting for Literacy Night will see the building transformed into a reading wonderland!


Ms. Laursen's class earned all their letters in the word LEADER again. The children voted to have a Glow/Dance Party in class for their reward. There was a lot of movement and fun as the kids enjoyed their well-deserved reward.





Children must turn three years old on or before September 1, 2023, to enroll in Headstart or Preschool, four years old on or before September 1, 2023, to enroll in GSRP, Headstart preschool, and five years old on or before September 1, 2023, to enroll in Young5’s or Kindergarten. For more information, call the Marlette Elementary School at 635-7427. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend this very important meeting on Tuesday, March 21st. Parents and children are encouraged to attend this meeting.


Thank you to Mark Schank, Burlington Township Fire Department Chief, for awarding us this plaque. Our district donated two buses to the fire department to simulate a rollover accident and an extraction drill. Because we did so, he submitted our district for a community service award, and we were chosen as the winner.

Ms.Melissa (19A/Red Heart) is not available to drive her morning route on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023.
If you are unable to transport your students to school that morning, please call 989-635-4942 or email kay.taylor@marletteschools.org as soon as possible for them to be scheduled for a late bus pick up.
Late bus students will not be marked tardy.


Special Board of Education Meeting - Friday, February 17, 2023 at 8:00 am in the Elementary School Band Room.

We have a scheduling change tomorrow for our Basketball games.


10th-grade students are reading Losers Bracket and had the opportunity to interview the author of the book, Chris Crutcher. The inspiration for many of the characters in his books came from his 25 years as a therapist in child abuse and neglect cases.
